Product Overview

The F-LD100-80G is a water level sensor developed in-house by Sifeng IoT, utilising FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) radar technology. Featuring a non-contact measurement design and a compact, space-saving form factor, it offers high precision, low power consumption and strong anti-interference capabilities. It is suitable for long-term online monitoring of water levels in various bodies of water and can be paired with a universal telemetry terminal to interface with remote monitoring platforms.

A:A water surface with fish-scale ripples provides the best signal reflection; installation should avoid areas with eddies, complex flow channels, pipe outlets, rapid currents and sloping weirs.

Q2:How are water level readings calculated, and what is the purpose of the installation height parameter?

A:Water level = Preset installation height – Actual free height; the device must have the installation height from the probe to the water bottom pre-programmed in order to output accurate water level readings.

Q3:Which communication protocols are supported, and can the device’s communication parameters be customised?

A:Supports Modbus-RTU and a proprietary protocol; all measurement parameters—including address, baud rate, range, filtering, sensitivity and transmission power—can be modified.
